| For me, this was a far more pleasant take on "It's a Wonderful Life" than the darker, more cynical "It's a Wonderful TG Life" also on Fictionmania. According to the latter version, the main character wanted to be a woman merely because he didn't live up to the stereotypical male image. That disturbed me since it was part of my motivation for transitioning, sad to say, though not the only one. Unlike that story, this story did not fill me with guilt and doubt about the reasons for my own transition, but with joy at someone who, like me, has found happiness as a female. Stories such as this are always a welcome addition to this site. |
