| Ick. Started off straightforwardly, and then wandered off in an ugly display of unchecked control. There were some novel aspects that aren't often used on fictionmania, particularly in this subgenre, that I've seen; for example, Karen was unhappy with the relationship, and actually seriously considered just amicably moving on to another one (no apparent obsessiveness or mistreatment on either side). However, Karen rapidly shifted from being a normal woman who had once been dominant in the bedroom to callous, uncaring cruelty. The paragraph where the male lead considers that being taken home would be a worse option was pretty much the final blow for me enjoying the story. It's so very cliched in this style, and didn't seem justified other than as a convenience for the plot. It's easy enough to see the parallels between the professor and Karen, and imagine Karen forcing her sexual desires upon the unwilling (e.g., students) in later years. I can't help but feel hopeful that somebody will hoist her upon her own petard. |

| This is ar really long storry. took me 5 hours to read it. read some last night and finished it today. It was long but it was also a really good story. I wonder what magic he will get once he turns 18 and how he will use this magic. |
