| Another great story by Paul1954! I liked the idea of the device used to enhance/make the body swaps happen. At first I thought it was the handcuffs that enabled the swap but then realized it was different, which was a total surprise. Another great invention brought to words. Keep up the good work. :) |

| This is very good SF, with a lot of erotism mixed in. I especially liked how well Noel did the "Heinlein trick", that is, the story was never stopped very long for explaining the universe rules. Instead, those came kind of naturally, mixed smoothly into the narrative. Another interesting detail that apparently nobody else saw fit to mention is that we NEVER get to learn the "real" name of the protagonist. Max only calls him/her "kid", when he is first made prisioner he is called only "Darna-crap", and later on she takes a number of aliases, one after another. And the amazing thing is, the reader DOESN'T EVEN NOTICE IT. It's like on "Fight Club" that the narrator is never named and you don't notice it. And it doesn't feel contrived even once. The only thing I think was missing was... well, there was not even a HINT of the protagonist considering reverting to the male gender after escape. After all, Max managed do to so much with his rejuves, it's not unconceivable he would be able to give Kid/Raven/Terra/Farkle/Jasmine a male body if she asked for it. But the matter is never raised. There were a number of reasons why she did prefer to stay female (not the least one being she got kinda addicted to female orgasms), but we were never given one. Oh well. |
