| This is the completed story that the author started over a year ago, and now it has an even more excellent ending to the very good partial tale that the author had posted then. Unlike alot of TV fiction the two main characters here ring true to life. The beautiful more murture older woman and the young boyish and shy male with a penchant for cross-dressing have become almost caricatures in a lot of TV fiction but in this tale they have life with alot of flesh and feeling to them. Lynn and Tom/Mary are both admirable characters that care for and respect each other. While there are no major or unexpected surprises in the plot of this tale, it still sweeps you along because of the interest one develops for the shared lives of both Lynn and Mary, until in the end when Mary does her little dance of joy in Lynn's apartment you feel her happiness as much as Lynn does over her decision. Here's hoping that the author will write more tales like this with such great characters, or at least do a sequel or two so we can know how Mary and her "Aunt" Lynn are doing from time to time. |
