| Oh, well this is a truly excellent story. In places quite dark, but never gratuitously so. I'm certainly glad I continued beyond some of the murkier scenes to find a story of real value and intelligence. The characters were realistic, the plot well crafted and the twist... well, I was doubly surprized. I can't rate this story high enough. Well done, Dawna... | I don't know if Mindy left enough of Fictionmaina up and running for you to actually get this review, but I must say I found your Texas Gal to be the best work on Fictionmania. I hope you continue to write and also continue Texas Gal. If you do, I hope you find a place to have it posted. I'll feel more than a little saddened, if I cannot find out how the story turns out. I guess what I like best about Texas Gal is the fully developed charactors. There is not a single plastic personality in the bunch. They are real 3 dimensional people, enough for the readers to develop emotional opinions about each one. That is class work. The newsgroup alt.sex.stories.tg would be an ideal place to announce where the Texas Gal story and the rest of your work will find a new home. You are a good author, and deserve a few strokes on the ego. Keep it up, and I'll be buying your work at Barnes & Noble rather than picking it up off the internet. If you ever do go to paper books I'd probably buy them, If I recognized the name they were authored by. A publisher probably wouldn't be to excited by "C. Sprite" and would probably want you to use something different. Best Wishes A fan |

| As alwayas Paul's stories are well written. This one has a haunting, mysterious quality that it strange & eeire. The characterizations are exceellent as usual & the sens of place - always one of Paul's strong points is very evident - I could feel & see the large old house. | Hello. I am the author of Spiritual Wandering. To tell you, the readers, the truth, I left this story the way it is because I wanted the reader to think about what the character in the story would do after that. Use imagination. | I LIKED this story! Same universe as 'NYPDPink', right? This story has the scales of justice better balanced. Will Daphne eventually be able to do magic as T.Fynn? One thing, *I* couldn't see the resemblence that made them a lot alike. How will they be a good team? More fodder for sequels!! |
