Not a bad story, though I would have enjoyed reading something about the actual physical AND mental transformations. As it was, I felt a lttle shortchanged. Incidentally, the commander of the shuttle that flew a couple of weeks ago was a woman. Maybe your narrator is on record as the first transexual to command a shuttle -- or -- if she's physically and mentally 16 as the youngest shuttle commander. Any way, it was a nice story. Ellie
