| I found this story to be very compelling and interesting. The author spent a lot of time and energy thinking through all the various factions and subplots found within this tale. I found the story premise to be quite interesting as a potential "what-if" scenario of the future, particularly with the RIT technology. This story, after reading, is one that keeps one thinking about some of the issues raised with regards to a society's "in-and-outs" with regard to societal mores and norms. The Fish-Eyed Sue faction was quite inventive, although I'm still a bit unclear as to the meaning of the "fish-eye" part. My only complaint is that it seemed to end a bit abruptly, and what happens to Terri-Anne in the future is also left up in the air a bit. I could see quite a number of other interesting stories coming out of the universe the author has constructed. All in all, from my prespective, a very interesting and absorbing read. |
