I find it incredibly hard to believe that this guy takes a look at the ships log and does a few random searches on himself and comes to the conclusion that he is in an alternate reality exactly identical to his own except the only difference is his gender has switched. How can he be sure that everything is exactly the same except for his gender? He didn't even check out the history of the new universe or anything. Just a quick search for his name? Hmm. Great detective work.
