| Hi Hermit, First, I'm glad I plugged away at this. I loved the ending. It had been looking like an identity death story, which I don't like. The "plugged away" part: Please, learn and use standard quotation format. Having dialog buried inside a paragraph doesn't even register as people talking when I read. Using the "and then he told her.. " with speech happening outside quotes is even harder to figure out. Again, the ending wrapped things up beautifully, with the potential of picking up a new improved life where he/she left off. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Just please, work on the dialog formatting. Dave |
