well on a side note I carry 3 1 gig drives with me,2 around my neck and one in my pocket, I have a full copy of office 2003 on one project 2003 and visio 2003 on another, I use them for installing the software my users computers,and I admit it is a personal preference,and lastly got them for less than 100.00 each more like 50-60. back to the story I did like it,and do want to see more, I hope that the main char uses his abilities smartly, so far he is staying below the radar, kind of like a drug dealer, he does not get into too much trouble until he gets the flashy cars and big house

It is, in fact, based on the D&D game systems, and the item described was a 'Girdle of Masculinity/Femininity' as described in earlier versions of D&D (It's been dropped from the DM guide in the third edition. To Enbreeze... I write this story to explain my transgendered state to lay people myself. If it helps you, then it's done it's job. To JoAnnCD... I wrote this story three times. The first two times was from the perspective of having gone through the dungeon, daring death, and finding the item, but it didn't work for me, and I eventually scrapped earlier versions of the story in favor of just showing the reaction to the event. I agree it could be expanded upon, but I'm generally happy with it. To Albedo... This is the only tale of this bunch. I have many other fantasy tales posted on www.thirdedition.net (this one included). There you will find tales ranging in size and complexity, but all in the fantasy vein. This one, however, is the first to cross both transgender and fantasy elements, so I also posted it here. That was pretty good; I look forward to reading more of your work. If I have any complaint, and it's a very mild one, it's that the prologue doesn't seem to tie strongly enough into the remainder of the story; unless you plan somehow on having the cause of the Bubble be directly relevant in a later chapter, it would have made a stronger story to leave the Bubble unexplained. You've set up an interesting situation, where Lenny is better prepared to deal with the transformation than most but is reluctant to admit that she already knows much of what she'll have to pretend, I suppose, to learn as slowly as her fellow changees.
