Hi Tonya,Hon, I think this was maybe a poor choice subject matter. It seems an incredibly charged and painful vehicle to use for what most will consider a personal issue. It would be a little like trying to tie together a personal story about drug use to the 9/11 tragedy. As serious a personal issue as transition is... it sort of pales in the face of 6,000 dead, and a nation struck with fear and anguish.Am I making sense? I'm not criticizing your style or even your execution... I'm just concerned that your handling of a national tragedy, might land as a small contrivance, and that could make a lot of people sad or even angry. Don't stop writing. Don't even use anything I say to feel disempowered. You just want to be sensitive to the pain so many people are feeling and be aware that the only way you're going to use the events of 9/11 in a gender story, is if you find a way to weave the issues of gender together with the issues of human digity. In the end, the only stories that will stand regarding this sad moment in all our livs, will be the ones that honor human courage and dignity.Good luck.Genda Bendte |

Naught naughty Noel... you provide us with the first 5 chapters of a 14 chapter saga exceptionally well-told, and you think that we the collective readers will allow you to not complete it?... :)Raven is a fully realized character and I'm most curious as to just what Max is supposed to be... please, provide us with the rest of the tale. |

Good story but ended too quickly. Why did her boyfriend give her the necklace in the first place, he must have known what it did? After the way David was treated, why would "she" return even if "she" needed the money?I agree with the other review below, a sequel is needed! |
