| Waldo does it again! Another great story, well written. As someone else noted, the only "slip" is when the author slides into some 20th century-style dialogue in what is clearly an 18th-19th century story setting. But that's ok...if that's the only thing wrong with this story, well, that isn't much! |

| Awwww, such a beautiful lovely story, told with such heart and class, the descriptions and dialogue crisp and thoughtful, that starts out with such sorrow and need of compassion and love. The mystery and fantasy told so simply and believably the pace and length perfect. I can see this fitting in perfectly with any era Twilight Zone , and hear Rod Serling’s voice over “Submitted for your approval...” I do believe he would quite happily as he loved these type of stories and is likely smiling cigarette in hand. I am shocked this only has a bit over 4500 reads at this time highly recommended!! Would love to send this to the new TW and see it made if there is another season. Thanks Nikki |
