| Good use of the movie 6ersion of the X-men. You made their world a bit darker than the movie (or the comic) with the Fundamentalist reactions and the Marriage Sanctity law, but part of that could be where you set most of the story. (I have heard that the area is becoming somewhat more libral with the infusion of all the free-thinking computer types.) I do have a problem with the guy has sex with just before she meets Ororo (Storm). The way you wrote that bit, it seems like the guy is Scott. Behavior like that is WAY out of character for him. He's a decent, if slightly square, guy and completely in love with Jean. Anyway, you've set up Marci as an intersting charater. Best of all, you've set her up as one I hope to read more about.
