| A New Start in Life Details |
| Idyllic, in the first part with Sarah and her own satisfying self-acceptance as a full time TV (nearly), and in the second part as Vicki's valuable friend. Sweet without being cloying. In fact her life is so "perfect" now it's hard to see where else it can go. I always assume that every Garden of Eden has a snake in it somewhere, tempting someone to fall and then to cope with an imperfect world more like our own. If this story as you sustain it doesn't, no regrets, so much the better for Jennifer. And, given the gentle, deliberate way you reveal and resolve her issues, so much the better for us. Yet, though it's lucky for Jenny that she has Sarah, I can't help but hope that Sarah has encouraged Jenny to be as she is for reasons other than those already disclosed. Even though Sarah's now-perfect domestic comfort is, I grant you, reason enough. |

| You have a knack for cliff-hanger endings, you know that? Can't wait for the next one, sweetie. ;) I liked the fluidity and the subtlety in this one. As usual, the story flows pretty well. Though, sometimes YOU need to stop and take a breath. Don't rush it. I like that Dan is slowly beginning to accept "his" femininity on a very light level. It's interesting what some hormones and some peoples perspectives will do to your psyche, isn't it? xD |

| Hey there, Allyssa! Just read "Applies For A Job." Its nice to see someone writing straight-forward, "true-life" stories here. Even though this IS a "fiction" story site, a problem is that TG fiction is often inherently unrealistic and improbable -- body suits, magic medallions, wizards, etc., are all interesting plot devices, but just not...."real." The better stories on FM (for me) are those that DON'T rely on such contrivances...and which don't sink into a sexual gutter in order to engage the reader. Your "true-life" episode, while short, was refreshing. And I know the feeling you express about the "liberation" that comes from being out in the REAL WORLD (not the after-dark tranny club scene) while en femme. It's my favorite hobby, one I indulge almost daily. I live in one of those "liberal" cities you refer to (L.A.), so that eases the way a bit! Keep up your stories, Allyssa -- it's good for some of the "girls" who read FM stories to get a glimpse of something other than pure fantasy once in awhile!! - Devyn P.S. -- feel free to correspond if you wish. |
