| An excellent start - I hope we don't have to wait too long for the succeeding episodes. I found the writing style easy on the eye and mind. However (why )s there always a 'However'?), there are a couple of factual errors. Firstly there is no rank of 'Captain' in the RAF. The equivalent RAF rank for army captain is Flight Lieutenant, or RN Captain is Group Captain. Secondly, when our hero(ine) introduces himself he refers to Her Majesty - we had a King (George 6th) during the war - so he would have said "His Majesty's...." etc! Not a real gripe, it doesn't detract from the writing, but it jars a little. Geoff |
