| CV-19 Chapter One "Lockdown" Details |
| Hey, this is a fun story with a true British feel. I really liked it, its true you need to get someone to help edit your stories. Most authors have the same problem, we dont spot things that we do out of habit. I know I do. We have to thank our reveiwers for pointing out our deficiencies. it just a learning process. But I have to tell you that the story felt like a story; it was a good read but as was pointed out it ended a little quickly. One suggestion I have that Phils reaction was tame, perhaps a bit more animation. Waking up in somebody else body is always a bit of a concern. I hope to see a lot more of your work. The British flavor really caught me, you talked about stone weight! How many pounds are a stone, I never could figure that out. The ginger hair of the the quim! We Americans just dont know some of the more common English terms. Remember we speak American, what more can I say. I am really glad to welcome you to the fellowship of writers here at Fictionmania. Take all criticisms with a grain of salt, (including this one) and rembmer that," they that cant write often are the harshest critics.(Not always though)Good writing takes practice. | I really enjoyed the beginning and most of the middle of this story, but found the ending hurried as if quickly wrapped up. The ending left me feeling frustrated. So much was dragged out through the early parts of the story to have the ending come so fast is robbing the reader of a good conclusion. If I was you... I'd consider re-writing the ending. |
