| Katahn, Very good first story. I kind of liked the darker nature of government attitudes towards mutants, as well as how the general populace viewed them.` Very nasty if you're a mutant. Like some others, I would have enjoyed seeing Marci dealing with clothing, maybe even a costume, and the full ramifications of her sex change in relation to society and her own perceptions. Seeing her deal with being a mutant was great, though, and done very well. I for one would really like to see more of Marci in days to come. Fine job of writing, you kept things consistent and developed the character into someone sympathetic and easy to like. Even if you don't do another with Marci in it, I'll watch for anything else you write. Maggie |

| Good story, and pretty well written. Like a previous poster said, they didn't do anything really bad to humiliate him, other than perhaps a bit of macho pride, and that did make the story believable. One minor fault though. I realize that the surgery was pretty much a deux ex machina (hmmm, what is the word I'm looking for?) to make the change happen, but ummmm, nothing else was mentioned about it afterward. I mean, how would his wife and protege have heard about this surgery, and had it performed, YET no one else seems to have benefitted afterwards? Wouldn't that have been a significant step in medicine to be able to transplant personalities, even souls if you will, into another host body? Could've made them rich beyond belief as well. |

| Dear Kris, You give us such a ride with each chapter! I feel that we are watching each characters' life as if we were there like an voyeuristic angel. The amount of detail reminds me of reading someone's diary, but I don't feel a bit naughty doing it. How the family struggles, goes on, rejects, accepts and then loves our heroine is amazing. I wish I could really express the feelings I get when I read your Alexa stories. Well done, and we have so much to look forward to, Christmas in Florida, the wedding, hopefully the honeymoon, trips to London etc. You are going to be a really busy woman. | Morpheus has said in the past that 'he likes to mess with families'. I concur in that the physical changes are interesting, but the mental, emotional and lifestyle/education changes are the best, if they are done well and properly drawn out. In the original story, "the bitch", following the decent of the boy from sweet young man, to mega-bitch, was interesting and intriguing. Sort of like the S. King story of "the shining", you followed the desent from good to evil. I liked seeing the boy change from decent and caring, to bitchy. A nice study of change and changes in mental attitude. I would not have taken the S&M-Dominatrix route myself. Here is a suggestion: The new 'bitch', is still a blend of the boy and the woman, with the woman becoming more and more dominate. I like thses stories where the changes are ultimately for the good. I would like to see a stroy line and situation evolve where the better traits of the boy have to come out and change the woman, for the better. With permission, I may even like to take a stab at this myself. |
