While the story idea is fine it is very hard for someone to have a ROYAL flush (A-K-Q-J-10) if the other party has all FOUR kings.I think you meant a straight flush which is all that is necessary to beat four of any kind. This immediately distracted me from the story line. |

| I have not read this story and I won't address its merits. I will address that its nuts to release 9 parts and of a whole individually. This is absurd. Get your act together and do it right. Is this something that you learned somewhere else? |

| This story had an interesting, open ended conclusion. Where all of the characters had some mention that was given some kind of closure... Or did they?? Now that this initial (I will call it) introductory story has been told, a new adventure with the current characters can see how they deal with the trials that seem to ready to be told of. Like every other review, I want to thank Albedo for such having such great skill with words and ideas. The usual tropes for stories weren't hidden by words, they just didn't exist. | One of the hardest things to do in this genre is a multiple switch. Very few authors can do it well . . . Eddie Glover comes to mind. Caleeb is one of those authors who likes the mutiple switch story, although Eric doesn't usually venture in as many switches as are in this story. THe shortcoming of this type of story is charachter development. However, these two knockleheads seems to have preserved that element.The story is noow at a critical juncture. Do not sacrifice the storyline and pacing for lack of charachter development. I'd like to see how this story, and the players resolve their various situations. |
