| Elrod, I've now reread, in sequence, the BB-nerds series. All of them have the human element in them well displayed. I may disagree with the relative amounts you chose for which quality, all the same, your stories stand tall amid the emotional 1 note stories of anger/revenge/hate/whatever. Paul/Mel was allowed to make a serious blunder, but still be redeemed in a believible manner. I *DO* have a bone to pick with Anya/BB! It's said toward the end of the story that Anya was privy to info the boys needed to hear. This clearly shows that Anya as much and more than the nerds who *were* concerned early on about the new Mel's attitude. I know you wrote the story for drama, but either you were unfaithful to Anya's character, or she restrained herself for undisclosed reasons. W/o knowing those reasons, if they exist, I'd have to say Anya showed a rather cavalier(sp?) attitude to Paul/Mel's mind state until things came to a head. I *LOVED* Dean Mean being put in his place legally by the mention of the contract HE doubtless signed! I also liked using the AD to show that a mere change in gender can only do so much. | I enjoyed reading the story but a couple things... The timeframe of the story was too short, a few days between lazy slob and humilated sissy ? Does she love him? I'm not sure... The other thing is not so much about this story but the blackmail premise.. If she sends the evidence to all his friends her friends see it too.... and if there is a work related plot then the company may be in jepordy if he gets fired or someone even posts a picture anywhere. The rules have changed people, a short time after a threat like that the victim realizes it is hollow -- authors beware of old cliches -- |

| I really enjoyed this story. It left me wishing for more after it. I think it's the great disparity between the characters that I like the most. Can we see more, please? |
