| Holy Shit!! (I don't say that often.) You have the talent of a writer. It's a little raw, but I encourage you to start submitting 'normal' transcripts of short stories to the various Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Drama magazines. This story, i see after looking you up, is not your first story, but the first one i have read by you. I have to say that the only short-coming to your story is that you shorted yourself on the different scenes within the story, trappings that set mood. You did use scenery - but only when it ovbiously aided your plot. (I encourage you to read/review David Eddings, David Weber, or John Ringo if only to get a feel for various methods of mood-setting with scenery information.) Your characters are rich in depth and emotionality. Your method of doing a background on each of them was very well executed. The world you are in could have been deeper. Is this a police-state? Curfews? The right to own Vamp/Lup Blasters possible with a 10 day waiting period? To sum up - the only character you didn't fully introduce us to was your world! I would suggest this 'universe' be available to all writers to base their storys in, like Spell-R-Us, it can be just that rich! Thank you for the story! Keep up the great writing. Sincerely, Mr. P |

| I really enjoyed this story. It was refreshing to read about what I suppose many of us cd's dreamt about when we were young. Also refreshing was the conspicuous lack of any mention of sexual arousal, and the boys were allowed to wear their own underwear! A believable and sweet tale. Is it true? --Geoff |
