| A Road Trip Gone Wrong Details |
| I was crushed to discover another cheap "willing rape victim" story...I was hoping this one would be one of those long and drawn out humiliation stories that involve blackmail and mind games. It's not that I hate those good ol' fictional gangbangs...they have their place and yes I read them every once in a while...but it really had the beginning of a really good long story or even a saga. Did I like it? Yes...it was better than the average fictional rape (was it really rape? The "victim was willing, she even admitted it...). Do I endorse such things in reality? Of course not...no sane individual would. It's a good thing it's all fictional. So please spare us the racism trump card...it doesn't apply here. There are sicker stories here on Fictionmania than a little difference in skin tone between the characters in "A Black Encounter." I have to agree with an earlier poster. If some people like reading stories about getting raped by big black men with big bald firemen, then that's cool by me as long as they harm no one in real life. Same principle applies for those stories about men getting magically turned into women with melon breasts, or teenage boys being beaten by a shemale dominatrix while wearing his little sisters panties, or some poor waifish English male brat being force-fed hormones by some sick, sadistic abusive parent...The list could go forever. As long as no one is really harmed in real life. Just a story folks. Read it and move on with your lives. If you don't like it, then don't read it and move on with your life. Nice story Sasha. -M |

| Someone call 911!!!!!!!!! I nearly died by the end of this story because of the twist! This is one of the greatest short stories I ever read! And it perfectly shpws the wizard sence of humor and his help of the underdogs, if you know what I mean. Keep writting stuff like this and the author will win a Pulizer. |

| Very much in the spirit of the originals -- keep it up -- you might get a deal with the publishers. My guess is that only the first few Gor stories were written by Norman (or his Enlish lit class), the rest by gost writers. |

| Not bad; rather a good tale, but... Me, I avoid period pieces because I KNOW that I'll make howler after howler: anachronistic language, especially, but also situations. For me, unless an anachronism is intentional (for humor or to make a point), it hauls me back into the present day and spoils the illusion that I'm reading an account written near the time of the events. I don't recall any big howlers here, but there are a lot of little ones, especially modern turns of phrase juxtaposed with (passable but) mock-antique ones. Probably I should just shut up and chill out. |
