| What a wonderful romp though the world of the d'jinn. That said... the sickly sweet eye candy of the overuse and repeated overuse of multitudinous vomitting like use of adjectives was both superfluous and almost sickening in their useage. I read the disclaimer of your writing style and feel that you've gone so far overboard as to drown the story in difficult to translate and tiresome to wade through flowery, over re-used, adjective fests. That and too many to count verb tense problems lead me to say that although I enjoyed the plot, I could have been a lot more exciting without the repetition of the adjective groups like "pretty little femmed out to the friggin' max of a jinn"; "femmed out to the friggin' max of a genie!"; "my femmed out to the friggin' max of a husband..."... after a while... its just too much. Lastly let me say something about the ending. It was so unburdened by adjectives that it was like a ray of sunshine. It was contrived, but jived with the rest of the story. If I could change one thing about the plot of the story... it would be tell the whole story as the ending was told. Danielle. |
