| I found this story very well developed and enjoyable to read. The cast of characters, with a few exceptions, were well defined and added to the story line in a coherent, subtantive, way. | Maddy Like several others, I have spent the last week or so glued to my computer, after I commenced reading Episode 1, and was then compelled to spend every spare minute enjoying every episode to date. For me, what is absolutely essential about a TG story is that it exists in the real world, and is highly believable (with little stretching of the limits of credibility). Gaby and Drew are, to me, so real that I almost expect to pass one of them on their bikes as I drive up the A1. Those places they visit which I know add lots of credibility, and the story has gone through a whole series of exciting, but realistic events. Please, please, please, continue writing – there are obviously lots of story lines left to run. However, taking on board some of the comments left by other reviewers, perhaps the pace needs to change, and some different types of twists that get Drew into Gaby's clothes. Also, as a non-biker I've been fascinated by the races, but there are limits as to how long you can keep that interest going. (Imagine, for example, a story about a footballer – assuming Drew reflects your lack of interest in it – and work out how long your interest could be kept in replaying each football match.) I have to say that until now, I have never, ever read a serialised story on Fictionmania, on the basis it might never be completed. Please don't let that happen to this one. And thanks for writing such an incredibly enjoyable story. |
