| Great story! However, Rachael is an unknown person with no documentation to survive in the real world. Better to have Rachael return back up to the attic in a short time to clean it up and discover the repaired mirror, and change back. Then have further adventures with the same thing happening to his friends. |

| Some reviewers have mentioned they envy Jenny and her relationship with Mark. Now before anyone becomes upset with me for expressing my views, please understand I am not in any way belittling anyone else’s opinions, fantasies or desires. But I do want to add this to my earlier review of this chapter and put forth my take on the relationship as Jennifer Madison has written it. I wonder if the situation with Mark is simply another manipulation by Sarah who hired him in the first place. To me, Mark’s attraction to Jen is almost too convenient and well timed. Mark and Jennifer were thrown together shortly before Jen’s world and emotions were completely ripped apart by an apparently exploitive, mean spirited spouse that Jennifer happens to love. Sarah obiously wanted someone to distract Jennifer from feeling betrayed by her actions with Jake and Mark was available. He displays his attraction to Jen with hugs and kisses at a time when Jen is very vulnerable and deep down is desperate for someone, anyone to really care about her since the love of her life seems to be rapidly disappearing over the horizon. Jen’s growing return of affection to Mark does not seem to actually be a product of “love” but more a byproduct of Sarah’s emotional spousal abuse. So the question in my mind is this. Is Mark actually attracted to Jennifer or is he merely a gigolo hired by Sarah to placate Jen? Does he really like Jenny for what she is or simply someone paid to seduce her so that she no longer has the right to question what Sarah does? Is this a little intrigue that our wonderful authoress has injected into the storyline or am I just too suspicious and reading something between the lines that is not actually there? Is Sarah’s motive in all of this, one of selfishness or one of love? Only time (and Jennifer) will tell us. Again, I reiterate that I am not putting down anyone’s fantasies and desires. Believe me when I say I have a few wicked fantasies of my own; they just don’t include humiliation and abuse. |
