I think Alan accepts what happens to him at the end unbelievably easily. If no one listened to him, which is itself unbelievable, he could have written a note. I would like to see a sequal where a resentful older Alicia, still biologically a male but shaped like a female due to hormones turns on her parents and relatives when she legally becomes an adult at 18, tells them all the bitterness and resentment she really feels, leaves home and plans for revenge while trying to regain manhood. |

An all-time classic! A fave of mine from when I first read this on storysite.orgI hope others appreciate this super-sexy piece of writing. What I like about this author is that he 1)paces things well 2) has thought aspects of the story out 3) doesn't rush things to a conclusion 4) juggles a lot of characters with ease 5) definitely has a ending in mind, but one that is open to sequels (a good thing). There are other Gingerfredman qualities. His sense of humor and his descriptions of sex. He never disappoints me.Thanks!Alana-Brianna |

Why, oh why can't there be a story like this where the protagonist likes what's been done to him but not how it's been done, and has the self-respect to either get revenge or at least to stop playing the manipulator's game. How much better at the end, for example, for Leslie to tear up April's envelope, leave the bar, and begin a plan to find her and...?? Or earlier in the story, to discover that Leslie had distracted April into talking to her as a girlfriend AND had secretly turned on his mini-recorder in her purse, so that he could take her to court and ruin her. Why do men who like to be women always have to be wimps?!? |

I had more fun reading this story than I've had in a long time. You made it fit in with the TV show very well, and I almost was able to picture the story as an episode on the TV set. Great job! |

Kickin. Once again, the plot thickens as we see that Chraig must deal with Lucy's former life. Choices, traps and problems all over, people droping in and leaving. Bits of memory and natural reaction medling with the old male self. This really could have been an excellent novel. I also love the why the philosical and moral ideas come up in the novel. They really drive the story. Femminism vs. old male views. To be a hetero-woman of homosexual one. . . God and devil vs. the possiblitiy that we don't have a clue as to what's really out there. There is no "right" or "wrong" in the tradional sense here, as the charcaters all have their vices and positives. Pretty much it's how Lucy/Craig comes out of the entire situation that makes you keep reading. How much of the old Craig and the old Lucy will finally make one NEW person? Thank You for the most wonderful read. |
