| Great story as always, Sandy! I love the ambivalence of the sissy, e.g., fearing the pink on his cuticles will expose his secret at school. A delicious prospect; I can only imagine what it would have been like at school-age. The first dress-up scene and make-up scene can be so tedious sometimes in these FM stories, including mine. You seem to have a gift for making them interesting. Perhaps it’s the way you show the sissy’s conflict, then resolve it with his action or Mommie’s reassurances, and then the big resolution, the view in the mirror--a girl! But you did it this time with the sissy first saying, “I did not look like a girl.” Cute and creative. “Don’t cry, Princess!” Sublime! “I couldn't help wondering why she was purchasing it, if this was supposed to be a one-time occasion.” Foreshadow with eyeshadow! What could be more fun? Your stories are always so wonderful. I look forward to reading more in the future. They just get better. I tend to jump around and try different things, which works for me and my various writing objectives, but you keep working on your central theme, polishing it like a gem. | I also have a few complaints, though some of mine are a bit different. I actually didn't mind that the wife was so vindictive and bitchy. It made the story more compelling, and besides, isn't that the kind of woman who would go so far as to femininze her husband? I did find it difficult to believe that the husband didn't put up more of a fight. More implausible was how, in the last few paragraphs, the wife suddenly changes her ways, and then everything is all right. Where did that come from!? The ending was unsatifying and even made me kind of mad that I had spent the time reading the whole story. |
