| Hi. I was gonna comment on the words like spill vs spiel amongst others, but I see someone has beat me to the gun. I'll just say that the story is interesting and very involved in character development. Its very boring in places. You also keep changing the point of view from person to person but keeping the first person way of telling the story. Its very confusing to have I refer to the doctor then I referring to Billie then to another patient. I think with a lot of "tightning" of the plot while keeping the overall story line will improve this story dramatically. Perhaps after I read part two I'll have a different opinion. Its like the story so far is all exposition... no tension. hugs, Danielle. ps. inspite of its flaws... its a good read. |

| Ooppss! 4 out of 4 readers don't like the story.....Maybe a major rewrite is in order.....Hmmm, let me sleep on it for the next few days. Main reason the "Mother" in question in the whole story never get into great details about her, her powers or her past---it was by design. I was trying to write a main character that's mostly hidden in the story background, never quite there but have great influences over all the other characters in the story and manages to change the outcome of the story plot lines. She is patterned after Niles' ex-wife in the Comedy show "Frasier". The ex-wife in queation never did make any real appearence at all, but such a character powerful enough to alter or driven the show's plot and other characters' reaction. And since I'm here explaining the story, I might as well must thank both Eric and Steve Zink to be my editors. Not that many still wet-behind-ears writers manage to have 2 editors to work on their badly written stories. Plus, my 2 editors have to forward all the reader feedbacks to me, something beyond call of duty. I would also like to thank the following readers sent their feedbacks through Eric and Steve-----Maggie, thanks for you kind words. But I'm still to shy to do anything else yet. Morpheus, the only person that have been giving feedbacks to all the stories I wrote, no matter how bad the stories might be. Ed, I'm glad you like the ending of the story, even though it got you fooled. Sam, I can't answer your question because I don't know myself why the "Mother" wanted to change sex after 800 years.
