| I enjoyed the story very much and almost wish that this could have been the first one that all the rest grew out of. I have read all three of the other stories twice and may read them again just to try to put all the pieces together. This has almost developed into a universe and as such I hope JRD continues to expand it. And I hope the loose end from this story are tied up at some point along with appearences by many of the main players. Thank you for giving us this fine work. |

| As one who at least tries to come up with something new, I'm a bit bothered by Pretzelgirl's portrayal of cliches as not just acceptable, but inevitable. It hasn't all been done, and there are still surprises to be had, even in this limited sub-genre. Still, this is a fairly concice listing of the principal story templates used around here, and writerss would be well-advised to keep it around to make sure they're not traveling down a well-worn path. I just wish it had remained satiric, is all. |
