| an excellent story with more than a few details based upon real life. An excellent tribute to the spirit of your father and a good friend to many writers at FM until his passing. His skills in writing and his strong, caring personality have obviously been passed along to the next generation through you! The only flaw in this well-crafted story is the sudden mention of Buffy. It seems to come out of left field. We need a reason for Buffy to come to the forefront instead of, say, Superman, but none is apparent to the reader. Maybe it was too well hidden? a very enjoyable read even with that bit of confusion. Thanks for submitting it to FM! |

| I was thinking about daring James to take off the suit. Suppose "they" take the dare, try to remove the suit and find out that "they" have been permanently changed under the suit. Either they are totally James under the James suit, or maybe they are a male, but somewhere between James and Jamie. Either way, it tells Kelly that there isn't a way completely back. Alternatively, James won't take the dare and in effect admits that they won't go back to being female. That would put Kelly in a different, but more definitive position. What would the DNA of the baby be anyway? Is it Kelly and Jaimie, Kelly (female) and James (male) DNA? Is it the DNA of the suits? Also, Kelly has grown together with Fiona and loves Matt. What if she gets the book deal and can afford suits for Matt to make him male and Fiona to make her younger? Any of these has James looking into the window from outside. |
