| I'm glad chief Mindy loves this too! cf. my note on Mrs. Cavendish. This tale is VERY special to me; for a haircare maven it surpasses nearly everything, and the sensitive,detailed account of Alicia's progress is terrific. One point of concern: During the second salon trip to color her permed bob, she seems to break through to a love of being feminine too abruptly: a paragraph on her dawning consciousnesss as a true girl might have strengthened an already great story. Please try to do a sequel which gets her thru the new school and beyond;I'd like to think that while hooked for life, Alicia might be a bit less passive, now that her identity path is clear. |

| In general, I liked the overall premise of this story. As was mentioned, there aren't very many age progression stories in this genre, and this was a nice addition. I liked the degree of detail given to the change. I did think that there was an abruptness in the new Dianne's arrival and her sons "disappearance" in becoming her--by not giving him a name, there seemed to be an attempt to set up the premise that the son never existed. Perhaps that was a point that was trying to be made, but this point didn't seem to be made clearly. Also, no one seemed to have noticed his disappearance after the new Dianne appeared--something not readily addressed as the plot progresses. The last few paragraphs do help in shedding light on what has occurred, and help to clarify the overall plotline. The author has a nice premise in this story, and hopefully there will be additional stories along this line from the author in the future. |

| Body thief stories can often be troubling but there was something about this one that was different. I was able to put aside the fact that the main character knew he was taking another body and just enjoy the ride. Your story was well written. I saw no apparent typos or editing problems. If anything was wrong, it was that we didn't get to see what happened to the new occupant of the cursed body. I hope there will be a sequel! |
