| It may be dark, but it has a nice little Serling-esque moral to it - a rarity for this site. It was an extremely selfish wish, and the mother got exactly what she asked for (which should never be confused with what you want). Don't rein in those dark impulses - some of the best fiction comes from when we decide to see just how dark we can get. |

| Quite a cute story. I love the attention to detail in the "geek babble"(tm)! It made the two main characters that much more palateable. Although i would like to know what happened to the slave-girl... (my favorite character... *grin*) Seriously, cute story, and, if only it were that easy to summon SRU, or one of the smaller dealers that way "Oh, i wish i had a new costu*POOF*" =) |

| I liked this story a great deal and it has great possibilities. However I dont think that it would be possible for an 8 year old girl to testify in a trial. At least not in the UK and the other critcism is that any TG would soon become a child molester and then get a free change of sex. The other interesting concept was the use of a uterus and ovary transplant for the heroine. That sounds really good but does it have any basis in fact. In short though it is a really good read and now the stage is set for part 2. Good Luck Elaine |
