| Great short story. I personally find the concept of an immortals behavior fascinating – after all I’ve seen every episode of Highlander and the movies more times than I will admit too, and even enjoyed Forever Night. My comment to some other reviewers is two fold. Absolute power is corrupting, coupled with the ability to read minds and it's easy to see how a small comment could be reacted to harshly. Perhaps that was her curse. I doubt my marriage would have lasted thirty days, much less thirty years had either of us had the ability to read minds. As far as the original Betty is concerned - well after all she was just another dumb blond. Connie |

| I have always enjoyed reading the "Spells R us" stories but this one was just a bit too short to even be considered a worthy story. I found it to be lacking in story length. As always, the plots in the "Spells R us" stories have always been enjoyable but This one I have found to be a short dissapointment. Please do try to improve on it since overall, it has definate possibilities. The plot is OK but the but the story length should be comparable to most of the other "Spells R us" stories. |
