| Have enjoyed this....you put a great amount of time into your writing..I am from the school the more transformationd the better. Although these could have been laced together a bit better....but do not want to complain...You may quit writing, then what will I do. |

| More! This is fine,fine work. The plot and writing are excellent. The fact that it had a TV theme become almost irrelevant as i became caught up in the drama and romance of these two people. Oh for more of this type of transgender material where the reader can attempt to identify with the characters. If there was a Pulitzer for Trans gender stories this would surely be on the short list. Please continue the story. There is a saga here. |

| Aardvark: Hmm. I bow to your superior knowledge in re Islam. I think maybe I'll just not mention non-Anglophone cultures much in future stories to avoid such contradictions. As to the your other comment about George Bush and names - no, the names altering due via matrilineal descent was part of the stuff that seemed necessary to me when I was working this out the ramifications of the Genderwave as set up and is too established a part of the stories already posted to be altered at this point. Not that it's an aspect I want to alter, anyway. I accept stuff like this makes this a more complicated universe to write in than most, which is actually why it's easier to use wholly fictional characters in stories and avoid real people whenever possible. This is part of the reason why the first story sat semi-complete on my hard drive for over a year. The more I thought about it, the more the ramifications multiplied. However, I eventually finished it and submitted it because I was convinced there was something interesting there to play with. The extent to which people are engaging with the concept in the comments suggests I was right. I'm looking forward to stories by others set in this universe with a mixture of interest and trepidation. I know there's at least one in the queue.... |
