| Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from this one, but I found plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. From the discovery of the SRU shop to the various humiliations and transformations to the surreal conclusion, this is one wild story. And yet, it's an amazingly coherent story -- all the more amazing since it's written by 13 people. I've participated in a number of 'add-on' stories in my online life that eventually degenerated into incoherent messes -- it's always refreshing to find exceptions to that rule. From start to finish, this story is easy to follow, funny, and enjoyable. I enjoyed this story a lot more than I thought I would. From the description, it seemed to be one big in-joke, and I didn't think I'd read enough of Eric and Raven's stories to consider myself 'in' on the joke. But it still managed to be entertaining to people like me who haven't read each and every one of the stories referenced, and that too is an impressive trick. The ending sequence at the weird mall is particularly surreal. For some reason, I envision an overhead camera slowly 'zooming out' as Erica and Daisy join the 'eternity of girls' wandering the mall as the strange music plays. Anyway, this story is my pick for 'Best TG Story about TG Authors'. Great job, everyone. |
